Conveniently located close to public transport, Estia Health Ringwood (or Waldreas Village Aged Care Facility) is a warm, inviting and social community set in its own attractive gardens, close to local shops. The single-level residence offers the convenience of visitor parking as well as an on-site bus for lifestyle outings. Features such as a dedicated theatre room, physiotherapy room and visiting hairdresser allow the residents to enjoy a range of amenities within the safe environment of the home. Friends and family are encouraged to visit loved ones and relax in one of the light-filled living spaces or landscaped outdoor entertaining areas. The home-style ambience is supported by caring staff, many of whom have been at the residence for many years, and a commitment to providing personalised care and attention to every resident.
Additional care
Well-balanced and nutritious meals are freshly prepared and cooked on site under the supervision of professional chefs. A wide variety of health and wellbeing programs, designed by qualified coordinators, are tailored to each resident’s personal needs. Allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and podiatrists are part of the support team, and hairdressers are on site as required. Pastoral care is also available. Importantly, Estia Ringwood offers exceptional levels of care and service. The staff are on call 24 hours a day to help out where required or just to share a quiet chat. Estia Ringwood also offers a secure memory support unit dedicated to ongoing specialised care for those with higher care needs.

Estia Health Ringwood features a variety of spacious and light-filled communal living and dining areas in each of its wings. Stylish lounge areas offer a variety of comfortable suites, armchairs and cushioned seating, with Foxtel available. Generous multi-purpose rooms host a variety of our lifestyle activities, while pianos are available for visiting entertainers or those who are musically inclined. An on-site non-denominational chapel is the venue for regular services. Each sitting room overlooks the manicured gardens and beautifully maintained courtyard. Complete with seating, shade and barbeque areas, the gardens are a favourite place for residents to relax or socialise. And walking paths, lined with flower beds and native plants, provide the perfect opportunity for gentle exercise.

Care Fee Increases
from 20 Sept 2024
From 20 September 2024, the following aged care fees will become effective:
The Basic Daily Care Fee increases to $63.57 pd (from $61.96 pd).
The Fully-Supported Asset Threshold increases to $61,500 (from $59,500).
The Non-Supported Asset Threshold increases to $206,039 (from $201,231).
The maximum Daily Accommodation Contribution (DAC) for refurbished / non-refurbished rooms will be $69.49 pd / $45.31 pd respectively.
The effective Refundable Accommodation Contribution (RAC) for a refurbished facility, above the 40 % fully supported ratio, will be $303,395 which will put pressure on persons looking for a fully supported placement, given that the average RAD is now higher than this amount.
The Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPIR) has not yet been finalised for 1 October 2024, however recent RBA inaction suggests that the MPIR will remain around the current 8.36% pa.
The Basic Daily Care Fee and some aged care thresholds are indexed to the Age Pension. On the 20 September 2024, the single age pension increases from $1,116.30 fn to $1,144.40 fn. This is based upon recent increases in the cost of living reflected in the Pensioner & Beneficiary Living Cost Index (PBLCI).
