Not all residents are required to pay for their accommodation, Low Means residents may be eligible for assistance from the Government as a Fully Supported or Partially Supported resident.

From 1st July 2024, the Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPIR) has increased to 8.36%
This small increase is due to the RBA's decision to maintain the benchmark rate for the past few months.
Some economists predict a benchmark rate cut before Christmas 2024, suggesting that the MPIR has peaked and may start to reduce.
