Accommodation
Accommodation is accredited for its safety and accessibility, it is designed to feel warm and friendly. Pleasant lounge areas, dining rooms, courtyards and private function rooms are set amongst secure landscaped gardens that offer a welcome setting for social activities and family visits.
Team
A team of trained carers, nurses and Nurse Practitioner are passionate about looking after the residents. Nurses supervise and provide around the clock care, ensuring optimum attention for your loved one. The Gables also offer in-house Allied Health services such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry and Day Spa treatments.
Food and Dining
All cuisine is prepared in-house to the highest nutritional and hygiene standards, featuring a variety in hotel-style meal choices, with Dietitian prescribed menus and respect for dietary, cultural or religious requirements.
Lifestyle and Activities
Residents are offered the choice to join in a range of group activities including gardening, exercise therapies, cooking and crafts. Residents can enjoy happy hours, high teas and regular outings where able. There is access to church services, library books, music and films.

Premium suite
Offering a classic design style, the Premium suite also features garden views and superior furnishings and carpets, as well as a private ensuite, TV, Foxtel and WiFi. Size 18 – 20 sqm
Courtyard suite
This spacious suite offers a private courtyard in addition to all the inclusions of a Premium suite including superior furnishings and carpets, as well as a private full size bathroom, TV, Foxtel and WiFi. Size 18 – 22 sqm
Deluxe suite
There are a limited number of contemporary-designed spacious Deluxe suites. These include superior furnishings and carpets with a full sized bathroom, TV, Foxtel and WiFi. Size 24 – 31 sqm
Premium double suite
The Premium double suite is classically-designed and extra spacious with room for twin beds if desired. It also features superior furnishings and carpets, as well as a private full size bathroom, TV, Foxtel and WiFi. Size 32 sqm

Care Fee Increases
from 20 Sept 2024
From 20 September 2024, the following aged care fees will become effective:
The Basic Daily Care Fee increases to $63.57 pd (from $61.96 pd).
The Fully-Supported Asset Threshold increases to $61,500 (from $59,500).
The Non-Supported Asset Threshold increases to $206,039 (from $201,231).
The maximum Daily Accommodation Contribution (DAC) for refurbished / non-refurbished rooms will be $69.49 pd / $45.31 pd respectively.
The effective Refundable Accommodation Contribution (RAC) for a refurbished facility, above the 40 % fully supported ratio, will be $303,395 which will put pressure on persons looking for a fully supported placement, given that the average RAD is now higher than this amount.
The Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPIR) has been finalised for 1 October 2024, and the MPIR is 8.38% pa.
The Basic Daily Care Fee and some aged care thresholds are indexed to the Age Pension. On the 20 September 2024, the single age pension increased from $1,116.30 fn to $1,144.40 fn. This is based upon recent increases in the cost of living reflected in the Pensioner & Beneficiary Living Cost Index (PBLCI).
